2012 Installations and Theme Camps

Theme camps premiered last year at SOURCE and were a huge hit, this year we’ve already got a dozen theme camps and large art installations promised! You can share in the fun, theme camps and large installation registration is due FEB 1.

Bedouin Lounge – Cabana Boys and Cabana Girls serve up tasty treats and refreshing drinks while guests lounge in comfortable cabanas and cool off in the relaxing and comfortable ambiance of the Bedouin Lounge. Featuring an open stage for live entertainment, come hang out or entertain us. Sound equipment ready for live, unplanned magical acts of performance and song. IMPROVOLICIOUS!

Camp Cannonball – Ahoy mateys and lookout from below the mighty pirate ship mast above ye at the grand Camp Cannonball, a place for pirates, wenches and all that sort to tallyho and and launch treasure hunts. Beware them pirates, I tell ye!!! Arggggggh!!!

 

Camp Exotica + B.S.O.S. Radio - Real, Live Radio at Source! Broadcasting live from Camp Exotica, adorned in tiki, bamboo and leopard decor. Camp Exotica provides an LP FM radio station booth at Source this year featuring live shows, DJs and a range of Source talent where YOU are the show! B.S.O.S. is broadcast throughout Source, its parking areas, on the shuttle, over local receivers and live on the world wide web.

Camp Oahu – These rowdy circus friends from Oahu join SOURCE once again to “impact your sense of propriety, use up your sanity, and repurpose your inhibitions.”  This is not a keiki camp, folks.

Choice Camp – Take a taste of Choice Camp, creators of amazing superfood smoothies (and we hear rumors of salads this year, too).  Look for the SUPERFOOD HIGHWAY, the bumping area filled with bountiful fruit, rocking blenders and tons of rad people enjoying this refreshing theme camp.

Diva Deva – Looking for the Goddess Power Hour? Look inside Diva Deva, a dance camp featuring sexy, groovy tunes, downtempo beats, deep and funky house and latino and ethnic vibes thrown in to create the perfect Baeleric composition for Circus of Dreams! Get your retro fix here with, especially Sunday during the Diva Deva RETRO party. Keiki encouraged!

Inflatable Camp – INFLATABLE CAMP will blow you away! You won’t have a hard time finding us, as you’ll see our Inflatable Oasis lined with inflatable Palm Trees, Flamingoes, Monkeys & other Wild Animals.  Score Touchdowns with Our Big Balls.  Take a ride in our Fantastic Fun Roller.  Grab another and get inside our Carnival Body Boppers & Play Human Bumper Cars.  Guaranteed Good Times over here- We’re Blown’ Up!   Most importantly- we like to ROCK around here.

The Colorbox – Illuminated cube of interactive visuals debuggin your brain and poppin and lockin your body rock when it’s party time.

Popcorn Stand – It wouldn’t be the Circus without popcorn!! Come visit the Popcorn Stand when you smell the tantalizing lure of delicious fresh popped corn wafting across the field.

Reggae Camp – You’ll know you’re at reggae camp by the red, yellow and green — and the reggae music of course! Reggae Camp provides a chill alternative to electronic and live bands. Visit Reggae Camp whenever you hear the sweet sounds of muuuuuuuuusic coming your way!

Sweat Lodge – Sweat it out! You want to try this. It’s incredibly healing, grounding and connective for your experience at Source. Please bring a towel.

Yoda Dome + Angry Birds – Love Angry Birds? Get your fill of full at Source this year at the Yoda Dome using giant stackable boxes, birds and one very large slingshot.  Full Size ANGRY BIRDS AT SOURCE! Then once you’re ready to chill, enjoy the amazing vibes of the Yoda Dome, a space dedicated to downtempo and ambient/spacial acoustic grooves. Featuring an audio visual experience using sound waves and a sand board, the Yoda Dome is predicted to be a major FunZone.

Yumm and Squish – Rolling out the red carpet to serve up delicious bacon cupcakes, hot chocolate, Kona Red, Special Coffee and offering tea time, foot baths, flowers, massage and other delights for Source 2012! Mmmmmmm get squishy!
