Well, I don’t have documented proof, but I can’t imagine Camp Keanae has seen this number of structures with this many activated builders constructing for a festival– SOURCE opens in 4 days. Over fifty people are already camped and setting up and excitement is building– In these pictures you see a small snippet of one of the 20 Theme Camps: “Camp Squish and Yum” with couches, massage, food and ambient music. The gym is already looking like the art gallery it will be with solid art walls installed and more going up. And on the field, the Yoda Dome, Creation Station, Reggae camp, the giant Circus Tent, The Colorbox, Angry Birds and more are already placed. Camp Oahu as well has landed on the island.

The build is on!

Placement map to be released soon!

by gabemott on February 2, 2012

The final placement of theme camps and art projects on the lawn of Keanae (our playa… submit great name below) will be released shortly. This year we even have our own esplanade as we have cleared out so much brush that a raised walkway around the camp was revealed.

Chris Kasak took the preliminary Placement Map and made our very own disneyland-like map! The location of some things has already changed, and more theme camps and art has been added, but I hope you enjoy this DREAM of SOURCE as much as we did when we received it.

Click the Map for greater detail. Play “where’s waldo” and find: The Wombroom, The Colorbox, Angry Birds, The Glass House, Choice Bar, Pirates and Ninjas and much more. Share your favorite finds in the comments.
