Everyone at SOURCE brings a gift. Whether it’s music, art, performance, healing, education, or any of the many arts and talents that we possess as humans, we bring it to this festival to share.
Who wants to do dishes? When you do dishes, you get a front-line meal pass: good for the front of the line at one meal (after you do your shift). Parking? This is a tough job, but a 4 hour shift gets you a rebate on your ticket. Cleanup? Staying until the very end and making Keanae better than when we found it gets you a rebate.
But that’s it, every other job is a gift. All of us do a little extra to clean. We build a city of domes, art, and stages that can support 500 other creatives. No one in the festival is working. All the art you see, it is a gift. Every performance is somebody who wants to share. All the meals are cooked by an amazing crew as an offering. Even the music. It’s all a gift. The price of admission is the cost of sharing a campground with food, shelter and safety. This is an all arts festival and we get to express in whatever way feels right.
Sometimes your smile is the best participation.
The way to build community is to work and play together. Throw down in the kitchen, do your dishes, help keep the bathrooms clean, fix something if it’s broke or get help if something is too big for one person.
We leave the campground in better shape than when we arrived.

TIPS FOR 100% LOVE AND FUN THIS WEEKEND:
Source is a LEAVE NO TRACE event, which means that everyone MUST bring garbage bags to remove any trash and recyclables that come to SOURCE.
Please bring your highest level of courtesy and willingness to participate. This means… PLEASE PARTICIPATE at Source!
Our festival runs smoothest when we all pitch in—this includes kitchen crew to ensure that we all eat; medical and safety crew; fire safety crew from dusk til dawn;cool heads crew to maintain happiness & good times for all Source attendees; gate crew, parking crew and MOOP patrol to ensure that the flow in and out of Source is beautiful and calm and that we leave YMCA Camp Keanae looking better than we found it! Other opportunities are also available for sign-up at the Source entry gate… We welcome your enthusiasm and look forward to hanging out with you having a wonderful time!

Bring rain gear and be prepared for muddy grounds—consider the potential weather—blazing hot sun, pouring rain and chilly nights—when packing your “all white” costume that may become all brown after 4 days at Keanae.
BRING A WATER JUG & YOUR OWN CUP FOR BEVERAGES! Bring extra food & snacks for yourself. Bring food, art, music, toys and smiles to share with others. We’re building more than a memory at SOURCE…we’re building our community.
