What: Interactive Arts Festival

When: noon on Friday February 19th-noon on February 22nd
Where: Camp Keanae, YMCA, Maui

The theme this year is “Soulution”.  You can bring your art (music, artwork, installation, performance, lecture, discussion) or you can come and just participate in the fun.

We have fun. We are tolerant. We clean up after ourselves. We value Solutions to our personal, societal, and environmental issues.

Tickets are presently $150. They  then go up to $175 on Feb. 1st until noon on Feb. 18th on the website and will go up more in price at the gate. For your benefit, assume tickets are no longer available on the website after Wednesday at midnight. The event will likely sell out so pre-sale tickets are a must.

A day pass is $65 on the website and will be more at the gate. We cannot guarantee that you can get in if have not purchased a ticket in advance. Do this before Wednesday, Feb. 18th 2010.

SOURCE is a non profit arts foundation. The ticket price goes towards paying for all the food, security, the camp fee, generators, and other fees that keep this going. SOURCE operates year round to enhance the arts and community.

Participation

by Web Admin on December 4, 2009

Sign up on participation form.

SOURCE depends upon your participation.
No one is hired to perform at SOURCE.
Your participation might just be a huge smile and some help cleaning up at the end.

Or perhaps, you’ll be inspired to create something novel to share. The art installations you see were put in place by people just like you. The music you enjoy is played by your friends. The performance becomes an opportunity to express yourself.

Everyone who attends SOURCE is given the structure and the freedom to express.

Do not fear, your participation on whatever level is appreciated.

First buy a ticket. Everyone who attends SOURCE pays for a ticket including organizers and performers.

If you are interested in finding a place to plug-in contact our volunteer co-ordinator General Squirrel. She has jobs for art installation, cleanup, kitchen, gate, theater, sound and audio techs…

You don’t need permission to bring your expression. Just bring it.  If you have an idea for a project (a performance, music, large art, paintings) that might need help and/or placement then you should let us know.

What are you bringing to SOURCE?
