Meals & Snacks = Food!
Source Kitchen provides 3 meals a day for the sustenance and enjoyment of our festival-goers. The meals are all prepared vegetarian/vegan, with occasional meat options on the side. Breakfast will begin at 7am, with hot food following an hour after that, and runs cafeteria style for 2 more hours. Lunch will be 1230-230pm. Dinner will begin at 6pm and last for 3 hours. Coffee, tea and water will be available all day. Our Menu is listed below. The kitchen will not be open 10pm-7am daily. Please bring your own supplies if you feel as if you will need them during these times. The three meals served will only be available during the times listed above. Please bring snacks if you feel as if you might miss a meal. Also, please let us know if you have any special dietary restrictions, other than vegan and raw (we gotcha), and we will our best to work with you.
Each year, we strive to provide 100% Locally grown/Organic fruits and vegetables . Ideally we will have ALL local fruit/veg for Source 2012. Want to help us realize this fantastic dream? Anyone interested in becoming involved in this gardening project, including those with land that they wish to utilize for an organic garden, have an interest in learning the arts of organic gardening or who already have thriving gardens of their own that wish to donate to the Source Festival should contact Ben Holt at b.boparena@gmail.com or Ryan Poe at ryndagr8@gmail.com .
Participation is the life’s blood of the Kitchen, as feeding several hundred hungry Sourcers is no mean feat. If you have an interest in lending a hand (not literally, please!) in the kitchen, if even for one shift, please contact Ryan Poe at ryndagr8@gmail.com .
A large part of a smoothly running Kitchen is with in donation of food and, most importantly, time. We are calling for any donations of fruits and vegetables, as well as certain necessary kitchen utensils that you may have available. A complete list of these items can be viewed below.
Donations: We will accept as many fruits and vegetables as you would like to give. We also have need of blenders, food processors, cutting boards, knives, large pots and pans, chafing dishes, Sterno, and any other specialty utensils you might have.

Veggie Choppin’ Evening- 2012? - We need bodies, knives and food processors to turn many pounds of onions, carrots, celery, etc into tiny little bits.
Source Garden Harvest Morning- 2012? – More bodies needed to harvest the remaining kale, chard, basil, brussel sprout leaves, sweet potatoes, etc, etc, etc from the amazing ReSource Garden!!
